Presenter: Mr. Gordon Johnson, P.Eng., M.Sc., is the Managing Director for the Environment and Water business unit at SNC Lavalin Inc. and has over 30 years of professional experience in the areas of civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, water resources, contaminated sites remediation and permitting. This experience includes civil and environmental projects execution for the oil & gas, mining, petro-chemical, cement and waste management industries.
Topic
The topic of this presentation will be remediation and waste management strategies for the petroleum industry. Gordon has been working in this area since the late 1980’s and early 1990’s,. This experience includes some of western Canada’s most significant Brownfield redevelopment programs that returned contaminated sites to subsequent beneficial residential, commercial or industrial re-use.
The talk will focus on Waste Management and touch on aspects that are relevant to the oil & gas production and processing operations of Saudi Arabia.
